Tara Purvis is from Frankfort, Ky and began her working career in various industries including sports, oil and gas, hotel and landed in the insurance industry. All of these sectors are quite different, but one common theme that has drawn Tara to all of them - People. Tara has a passion for building relationships and superior customer service.

Tara has been called an "association guru" mainly because she has worked for the Northern California Golf Association, the Kentucky Oil and Gas Association and now Independent Insurance Agents of Kentucky. In 2015, she was honored with the Emerging Leader Award of Excellence by her peers and association executives.
 
Excited to be a part of the ever-changing insurance industry, Tara looks forward to the future, the ways we will adapt and improve in an already fantastic industry. She is grateful for an amazing association membership. Her main goal is to connect with all members, provide the tools to help them succeed in their business and guide them to the many benefits provided by the Big I.

In her free time, you can find Tara on the golf course, spending time with her husband, Bryan, her 2-year-old son, Rex and her GIANT sheepadoodle, Franklin.
