Director of Student Transition and Career Readiness
Pamela Moore currently serves as the Director of Student Transition and Career Readiness in the Kentucky Department of Education Office of Career and Technical Education and Student Transition (OCTEST).

She began her career in education as an agriculture teacher in 1990. In 1999, she joined the Kentucky Department of Education to initiate the development of a standards and assessment system which would serve as a measure of technical skill attainment for federal Perkins accountability and a measure of transition readiness for state accountability, but more importantly as a tool to drive curriculum and program improvement in career and technical education in Kentucky. In 2014 she assumed the role of Branch Manager for Continuous Improvement in Office of Career and Technical Education and Student Transition. She was appointed to the position of Division Director of Student Transition and Career Readiness in 2016.

Pamela earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from West Virginia University in 1989; a Master of Science in Vocational Education from the University of Kentucky in 1997; and Education Specialist degree in Instruction Leadership Principal and Instructional Leadership Supervisor of Instruction from Asbury University in 2013.
