In today’s digital economy, the traditional employer and employee relationship is rapidly changing. The overwhelming trend is toward a new gig economy: An environment in which temporary positions are common and organizations contract with independent workers for short-term engagements.
Participants in this session will learn how to define and understand pros and cons of the gig economy from both the employer and employee perspective. We will also explore attributes and trends within Generation Z and Millennials who have matured with the gig economy and who will make up over 70% of the U.S. population by 2020.
